Note that not all models of type2 barndoors got the rear bumper at the same time. The first model to get a rear bumper was the De-Luxe at ch. number 20-047102, after that came the Standard Microbus, the Kombi and the Panelvan at ch. number 20-069409, and last the Pick-Up at ch. number 20-079856. Before that all VW barndoors had no rear bumper.
All barndoors had a big engine compartment door until ch.number 20-117901, except for Ambulances and Pick-Ups.
